MFM-100 MULTI-FUNCTION MACHINE

The Hampden Model MFM-100 is basically a four pole, single-phase, split-phase motor consisting of a main winding, a starting winding, a centrifugal switch, and a squirrel cage rotor. With the addition of the starting resistor, the starting capacitor, and the permanent capacitor, it is possible to operate the MFM-100 as a capacitor start motor, a two value capacitor motor, or a split-phase motor.
